Is it true Mexico helped Ethiopia when Italy invaded it?

I was just reading some facts on “Google Facts” from Twitter, and it said, “Ethiopia donated 00 to earthquake victims in Mexico because Mexico supported Ethiopia when Italy invaded in 1935.”

Yes and no. They supported Ethiopia but they did not send troops. It was diplomatic support and eventually the Mexicans DID provide some armed support to the allied effort, but I believe it was limited to the Pacific theatre.
